Ten outstanding elementary school programs have been selected as winners of the Oregon Elementary School Principals Association (OESPA) Pioneer Awards. Winners include programs aimed at family literacy, conflict resolution, community service and parent nights.
OESPA's Regional Presidents met during the COESPA Conference in Kah
Nee Ta to determine recipients of the 2006 awards, which are given
annually to elementary programs that meet the following criteria:
- Program must be currently in practice
- Program must be unique in nature
- Program must be adaptable for use in other schools
The winning schools will have plaques presented to them in their
local area, and will be honored at next year's OESPA/OASSA Winter
Conference, January 15-17. The OESPA Journal will feature each of the
programs in their fall edition.
