|Achievement Compact Webinar recordings are available|
The second in a series of free, interactive online webinars focused on Achievement Compacts and the role of Achievement Compact Advisory Committees was held Thursday, September 27. The webinar was presented by OEA, OSBA and COSA.
The webinar focused on collaboration, and included presentations by teams from Springfield and Lebaon school districts.
OSBA, OEA and COSA have also teamed up to publish Getting Started on Achievement Compacts: How to set up an effective collaborative process in your district.
A previous webinar, "Getting started on Achievement Compacts: How to set up an effective collaborative process in your district," was held September 12. A recording of the webinar and a PDF of the slides are available. (The first six minutes or so of the webinar are devoted primarily to information and set-up for those who were participating live, so it might be best to begin viewing at about the six-minute mark.)
This introductory webinar provided an overview of the Achievement Compact process for the coming year, including superintendent-local education association collaboration in the selection of advisory committee members, advisory committee responsibilities and timelines. The session included time for questions and answers.
OSBA, OEA and COSA also had the opportunity to learn from participants about the resources and supports local districts would like for their statewide ogranizations to provide, and which topics should be covered in future webinars.
