|'Change' authority Michael Fullan headlines Winter Conference|
Recognized as a worldwide authority on organizational change, author and speaker Michael Fullan headlines the OASE/OACOA Winter Conference at Salishan, January 29-31. Fullan is professor emeritus at the University of Toronto and currently serves as special advisor in education to the Premier of Ontario. His latest book, The Six Secrets of Change: What the Best Leaders Do to Help Their Organizations Survive and Thrive, lays out the key factors that allow an organization to sustain meaningful change.
In addition to Fullan, the conference features Professional Learning Communities experts Dr. Bob Eaker and Janel Keating, who will highlight how central office administrators can support successful PLCs throughout their districts. As well, Nancy Hungerford will discuss school law and collective bargaining, and AASA President Dr. Danial Domenech will speak at a special breakout session.
