Beginning March 5, COSA is offering a four-part series of live, interactive McCREL eSeminars, "School District Leadership That Works: The Effect of Superintendent Leadership on Student Achievement."

"The eSeminars feature McCREL's Timothy Waters and James Eck," COSA Professional Development Director Colin Cameron says.  "Superintendents and other administrators will receive guidance on utilizing the findings of McCREL's most recent meta-analytic research study on the effects of superintendent leadership to increase student achievement.  The aim will be on the practical application of the findings."

The 90-minute eSeminars, all which begin at 4:30 p.m., are set for March 5, March 14, April 4 and April 9.  The sessions are viewed over the Web, with live conversation held via a simultaneous telephone connection.  The eSeminars can work on a single desktop, or can be projected onto a large screen in a group setting.  Although the eSeminars are aired live, registered participants who miss a session or want to see a session again may view recorded sessions via the Web through April 30.
