The 2010 COSA/ODE Fall Conference for Special Education Administrators is set for Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at the Eugene Hilton. The conference annually contains presentations on hot issues in the area of special education such as disproportionality, charter schools, 504, and legal findings. This year, a primary focus of the two-day conference for all districts and ESDs will be on “Scaling Up” systems change to maximize the academic and behavioral outcomes for all students. Attendees will receive overview information and details about effective implementation and how to “scale up” evidence-based practices in large, mid-sized, and very small districts. Register today.
