Oregon Department of Education (ODE) conflict resolution specialist Valerie Miller and a panel of school administrators will discuss their experiences with mediation and alternate dispute resolution at the June 21COSA/ODE Special Education Pre-Conference. This is just one of 16 excellent sessions to be offered at the Seaside Convention Center during the one-day event that precedes the 32nd annual COSA Conference.

Miller and the panel will share their perspectives on how mediation and dispute resolution has helped to resolve conflicts in their districts, as well as the changes that have occurred in their districts as a result. Information on ODE's mediation program will also be provided.
