Two COSA
Principals Academies will take place over five days this summer and fall.
The academies offer practicing, new and aspiring principals a
professional development experience that is both practical and inspiring – and
of real benefit to participants and their schools.

for new and aspiring principals, this five-day academy begins with a July

develop the self-knowledge that informs able leadership.

participants will focus on the challenges facing new school leaders, with the
help of a faculty of successful Oregon

Opening of School Events; and many more.
At Sunriver,
participants will engage in follow-up sessions as well as the conference
sessions, which include “The Principal and Professional Learning
Communities” with Bob Eaker, and “10 Things Excellent Principals Do”
with Todd Whitaker.
Additional
web learning opportunities will also be available throughout the year to
enhance the experience of new and aspiring principals.
