30th Annual Oregon School Law Conference

 

The December 1-3, 2010 Oregon School Law Conference will mark the 30th time that the three sponsoring organizations have cooperated on this important education event.  The Confederation of Oregon School Administrators (COSA), Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA), and the University of Oregon welcome you to the Eugene Oregon Hilton for the 30th Annual Oregon School Law Conference.

This year's Law Conference gathers Oregon educators and the best legal minds on the topic of School Law from throughout the state for a two-day seminar.  Two general sessions, 15 Interest sessions and several small-group discussions characterize this highly interactive and informative event.  Topics will include: Programs of Assistance, Student Discipline, Special Education, First Amendment Issues, and Highly Qualified to name a few.  The two general sessions will discuss current topics of interest in the state.

The Oregon School Law & Finance Seminar (a separate pre-conference event) is a two credit course designed for out-of-state administrators who are applying for an Oregon Administrator License. This two credit course is held in conjunction with the Oregon School Law Conference and meets the TSPC law and finance requirements for out-of-state administrators.  Registration deadline is November 26, 2010.  Click here (under construction) to download a registration form for the seminar.  Registration for this event is separate from your conference registration.
