New/Continuing Principals Academy '09-10 Open to Active COSA Members Exclusivley Professional Development and Credit Toward Your Continuing Administrator License at a GREAT price.
New/continuing principals will focus on the challenges facing school leaders. Support will be given to participants throughout the year as they develop the self-knowledge that informs able leadership. The Academy has been developed and will be taught by a faculty of successful principals and school leaders. Learning modules are designed to meet Oregon administrator standards. Academy faculty will engage participants in the following topics:

Additional web learning opportunities will also be available throughout the year to enhance the beginning principal experience.
![]() ![]() The Faculty: Colin Cameron, Director of Professional Development and Suzanne Dalton, Profesional Development Coordinator. Practicing principals and administrators from throughout Oregon will be presenting and modeling the agenda topics. Linda Borquist will present this academy.
College Credit toward your CALGraduate level credit (2-4 quarter hours) will be available at a much reduced price of approximately $75 per quarter hour through Portland State University or University of Oregon, and $150 per semester hour through Lewis and Clark. Registration is now open for this Academy. Cost for each participant in the program is $500 for the entire program and the opportunity to attend all of the Professional Development and conferences mentined above. All registrants for this academy will automatically be registered for the annual Principals Conference on October 18-19, 2009. Registration
