This position will primarily be responsible for assisting daily operations of the behavior programs under the director.
This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job.
Write, oversee and complete grant reports and program/project related budgets.
Implement programs that focus on decreasing maladaptive behaviors and increasing social, communication and adaptive skills.
Meet regularly with school administrators and staff.
May supervise education behavior teachers/interventionists.
Sustain current knowledge on research and best practices around behaviors and trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning.
Works in conjunction with peers to provide cohesive program implementation and communication across the entire program.
Strong interpersonal skills evidencing the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of constituents with a focus on solving conflict without blame and managing difficult or emotional parent/community situations judiciously.
Keep extremely accurate student discipline and intervention records including the documentation for all parent/guardian conferences, intervention plans, and phone calls for behavior.
Monitor and support classroom and school-wide social-emotional and behavior management strategies, trauma-informed, and Equity-Diversity-Inclusion work.
