2025-2026 New Principals Academy

Join the New Principals Academy and start your leadership journey with the tools, support, and connections you need to thrive. Register today and step confidently into your new role.

Purpose: Professional learning experience for first-year principals covering essential leadership skills, administrative responsibilities, and instructional leadership. Provides ongoing support through mentorship, peer networking, and cohort collaboration focused on improving teaching and learning. Participants develop data-driven decision making skills, learn to foster positive school cultures, and build lasting professional relationships with fellow educators. Includes attendance at two conferences throughout the year to expand learning and connect with the broader educational leadership community.

** In order to participate, you must be a COSA “Active” member. **

  • March 10
  • April 7
  • May 12

In-Person Dates:

  • October 15, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM | COSA SPED Conference, Eugene
  • December 3, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM | COSA Law Conference, Eugene
  • June 16, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM | COSA Seaside Conference, Seaside

Bonus: 

  • August 4-5 | Summer Conference, Eugene (complimentary registration)

Cancellation Policy:
Failure to cancel 72 hours in advance of event will result in 50% charge of registration fee.  No-shows will be charged the full event fee.
