Baker School District is currently seeking a candidate as an Assistant Director of Special Education beginning July 1, 2024. Position is 1.0 FTE.

Under the direction of the Special Education Director, the Assistant Director of Special Education shall assume responsibility for the planning, development, coordination, and management of the district’s on-site special education programs and staff. The Assistant Director of Special Education will provide leadership to ensure that district on-site special education staff is supported and developing professionally.

The Assistant Director of Special Education is also a member of the Baker School District’s Administrative Team and works collaboratively with the District Office Leadership Team to advance the District’s Educational Vision.

The annual salary for this position is $101,610 - $123,863 based upon the 2023-2024 Administrative salary schedule; The 2024-2025 salary schedule has not yet been determined.

This position will begin July 1, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year. Contract period is 220 days in length.
