Central Linn School District is seeking a student-centered educator to serve as a 7th/8th Grade ELA/SS self-contained (K-8) teacher. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated staff, engaged students, and a supportive community to enhance teaching and learning at the junior high level. We are looking for an educator who prioritizes strong relationships, demonstrates effective instructional practices, and is committed to supporting every student’s academic, social, and emotional growth. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive school culture, support schoolwide AVID implementation, and promote both staff development and student achievement.

Central Linn Jr/Sr High School serves approximately 260 students from the communities of Halsey, Brownsville, Shedd, and Peoria in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Our close-knit, small-town setting provides convenient access to Corvallis and Eugene (about 30 minutes away) and is within 90 minutes of both the Oregon Coast and the Cascade Mountains.

Competitive salary based on the CLEA Licensed Contract: $46,004 – $94,620 (depending on experience)

Required Qualifications
Valid Oregon Teaching License self-contained endorsement (with ELA/SS expertise), issued by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC), or ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
Ability to build positive, productive relationships with students, staff, and families
Commitment to individualized instruction and high expectations for all learners
Ability to differentiate and modify curriculum to meet diverse student needs

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Common Core State Standards, PBIS
AVID Trained
Proficiency-Based Instruction/Grading
GLAD/SIOP Trained
Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning teaching practices
Knowledge in Collaborative PLC Process
Experience supporting students with high needs, including behavioral, academic, and social-emotional challenges
