START DATE: August 28, 2026

SALARY: $47,229 to $87,904, and an additional $3,000 stipend for SPED endorsement (based on the 2025-26 salary schedule).

COMMUNITY: Pleasant Hill School District serves approximately 975 students in grades K-12 and believes in maintaining the characteristics and qualities associated with a small rural community. Pleasant Hill is located in Lane County that has maintained an undiscovered charm despite being only a short 15-minute drive to the University of Oregon, numerous shopping and dining experiences, and local hospital services. Pleasant Hill’s close proximity to both the coast and mountains provides its residents with some of Oregon’s greatest hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation opportunities. The Eugene airport is a close drive away and is the second largest airport in Oregon generating over 800,000 trips annually with services to destinations like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Seattle.

ABOUT THE
POSITION: Pleasant Hill School District seeks outstanding candidates for the position of School Psychologist K-12.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Conduct educational and psychological evaluations on students referred to them. Coordinate the implementation of recommendations following evaluations.
• Participate in parent conferences and school staffings in consultation with the school principal or Director of Special Education.
• Write up each evaluation for the Special Education and school files. Perform the necessary follow-up on referrals processed.
• Serve as a consultant to classroom teachers and other Special Education personnel.
• Coordinate the development of certain IEP’s as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
• Attend Special Education staff meetings as needed.
• Develop behavioral programs.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and software as established for agency use as well as other equipment and software appropriate to the assignment.
• Perform other related duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have an Oregon School Psychologist License.
• Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with student, staff and/or parent information.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to carry out the job duties.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass drug screen upon hire.
