Moving from Individual Champions to Systemic SEL Implementation

Moving from Individual Champions to Systemic SEL Implementation

In many districts, SEL work is often led by a TOSA, specialist, or individual hero rather than a systemic approach to implementation. This session will shed light on the why and share a how in order for district implementation to be deep, systematic, and meaningful. This session will target conversations and learning around how we can implement SEL for educators at every level and specifically work to integrate SEL into SPED spaces. We will discuss accessibility for different types of learning, MTSS, and the importance of Adult SEL as a part of the successful SEL equation.
