Objective: To provide second-year Oregon superintendents with an ongoing opportunity to participate in a collaborative learning network focused on leading their districts to student success for ALL students. A complimentary registration is provided to each Academy participant for the Winter COSA Conference (January 23-25, 2025).

Mentorship Support: Each Academy participant is paired with a skilled mentor. Every attempt is made to maximize the pairing of the new superintendent and the mentor. The facilitators of the Academy have decades of superintendent experience and are available for support throughout the year.

** In order to participate, you must be a COSA “Active” member. **

Extended Sessions Offered in Person:

• October 16, 2024 (via Zoom)
• January 22, 2025; 3-6pm at Salishan Coastal Lodge, Winter Conference
• April 9-10,2025; 2-5pm *offered in conjunction with PACE day

Cost: $795 - This price is for the year-long academy and includes registration to the Winter Conference. Full scholarships are available for superintendents who are leaders of color, members of the LGBTQ community, or are bilingual. Participants must have “active” status as a COSA member.
