Elementary Vice Principal

In cooperation with the principal, the elementary vice principal is responsible for organizing and fostering a positive, safe environment that is conducive to best meeting the needs of all students, staff and parents. This includes maintaining a learning environment through proper student behavior, scheduling of classes and activities, and effecting proper guidance and leadership of staff and students.

Special Requirements:
Valid Oregon administrative certificate.
Minimum of five years of successful teaching or administrative experience in public education.
Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues, including the ability to create and nurture a professional community of adult learners.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills, including giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Proven ability in using school and student-level data to guide decisions.
Experience and expertise in restorative justice and issues of equity in school discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in oral and written communication
Strong interpersonal skills.
Models continual improvement, demonstrates lifelong learning, and applies new learning to help all students achieve.
Bilingual preferred, but not required.

There are multiple(6) positions available; one at each elementary school.
This is a full-time probationary position for the 2021.22 school year.
Salary Range = $96,244-$111,379
Contract days = 215 days
