JOB TITLE: Special Education Teacher (K-12) 1.0 FTE

REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Special Education Director

Central Linn School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Special Education Teacher (K–12) to join our team. We are looking for an educator who builds strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and who actively contributes to a collaborative professional learning community.
Our district proudly serves approximately 450 students across two campuses, supporting the communities of Halsey, Brownsville, Shedd, and Peoria. Located in the heart of Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley, we are surrounded by farmland, vineyards, hazelnut orchards, and the vibrant seasonal landscape of the “grass seed capital of the world.” Our community offers small-town charm with convenient access to larger cities — just 30 minutes from Corvallis and Eugene, 90 minutes from the Oregon Coast or the Cascade Mountains, and within two hours of Bend and Portland.

Required Qualifications
* Valid Oregon Teaching License with appropriate Special Education endorsement, or ability to obtain a restricted license
* Ability to build positive, productive relationships with students, staff, and families
* Commitment to individualized instruction and high expectations for all learners
* Ability to differentiate and modify curriculum to meet diverse student needs

Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of Common Core State Standards, PBIS
* Proficiency-Based Instruction/Grading
* GLAD/SIOP Trained
* Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning teaching practices
* Knowledge in Collaborative PLC Process
* Experience supporting students with high needs, including behavioral, academic, and social-emotional challenges
