The Sweet Home School District is looking for its next elementary principal to lead our students and staff. We are seeking an inspirational leader who can engender trust, build school spirit and culture, enhance instructional models, and embrace the distict’s commitment to outstanding achievement. It is our goal that students become thriving citizens through character development, healthy lifestyles, fitness, and successful work habits.

Sweet Home is the gateway to the Cascades serving as the base for numerous nearby recreational opportunities: boating and water-skiing at Foster Lake and Green Peter Reservoir, salmon and steelhead fishing on the South Santiam River, kayaking at nearby Quartzville Creek, Nordic and alpine skiing at Hoodoo, mountain biking, camping, and rock-climbing. Numerous nearby hiking trails include McDowell Creek Falls, Horse Rock Ridge, Soda Creek Falls, and Iron Mountain.
