What you will do!
As our Arts Education Specialist, you will provide leadership and coordination of arts education for Oregon students and promote inclusive, accessible and culturally responsive instructional education practices in the State. On a regular basis, you will assess current data regarding access to the Arts statewide, build an understanding of the state of Arts education in Oregon, and use this information to inform the work of the Well-Rounded Courses Access grant.
You will develop and advise on systems that integrate the Arts into STEM education and infuse the Arts into content-area learning as well as identify potential partners and build strong connections with the Arts Community to help inform and engage them in this work. Overall, you will provide support and oversight of high-quality Arts course development and instruction.
