The employee is primarily responsible for effective teaching and learning for Elementary Music, Elementary Band, Junior High/High School Band, and possibly other assignments based on qualifications. Must follow district approved curriculum, instruction and assessment practices. Primary responsibility shall include student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student’s readiness to learn including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare. In carrying out their responsibilities, teachers follow District policy and standard practices and administrative unit regulations.
Have or be able to obtain Oregon teaching license with K-12 authorization
Have or be able to obtain Music endorsement
Must be Highly Qualified per No Child Left Behind

Salary/Benefits: Range: $37,916 - $71,536
District pays PERS contribution. $1,650 per month insurance cap.
