Rate of Pay:
$295.87 per Full day of work
$147.94 per Half day of work
FUNCTION:
To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation while the resident teacher is absent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated;
Maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning;
Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior;
Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities;
Establishes and maintains cooperative relations with others;
Follow lesson plans provided by an absent educator;
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Eligible for an Emergency Teaching License issued by Teacher Standards and Practices Commission which will be sponsored by KFCS. KFCS will pay for pre-approved applicants ONLY to obtain this certification. THose that apply prior to approval of KFCS will not be reimbursed for any fees.
Must provide proof of COVID Vaccination.
