This position, Executive Director of Human Resources offers a terrific opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong service orientation, a knack for managing details and a desire to support the continually evolving role of Human Resources in the field of education.
The Executive Director of Human Resources plans, directs, and administers all human resources functions for Lane Education Service District (LESD). Serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this position will have key responsibilities for designing and implementing strategies for sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, developing, retaining and offboarding a culturally and linguistically diverse workforce. In addition, the Executive Director of HR will be responsible for determining LESD staffing needs in collaboration with department leadership teams, and in alignment with the district’s vision, mission and goals. This position will provide oversight for compensation and employee benefit programs, staff evaluation programs, personnel record systems, and labor relations activities including negotiations.
