About the Position
The Arlington School District Board of Directors is seeking a highly qualified candidate with visionary leadership skills and successful experience in education administration to serve as Superintendent/Principal beginning July 1, 2022. The successful candidate must have experience as an administrator, excellent communication skills, unquestionable integrity and be willing to be involved in the community. The Board will offer a competitive compensation package to the successful candidate which includes $2,000 per month for medical benefits, an annual salary range of $95,000 - $115,000.
The successful candidate must hold or qualify for an Oregon superintendent's license and provide proof of compliance with OAR 333-019-1030 (COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Teachers and School Staff).
About the District
Located in Arlington, Oregon, the school district has one school (K-8 in one building) and one high school (9-12) located on adjoining campuses. There are a total of 160 students served by a staff of 14 licensed, 15 classified, 2 confidential and 1 administrator. The District recently became a public charter school district. The District has a general fund budget of about $6.8 million. The District offers small class sizes giving students individual attention and provides each student a personal computing device. College classes are available to all high school students in partnership with Columbia Gorge Community College and Eastern Oregon University.

Arlington is a small town with a population of 600 people in Northcentral Oregon about 50 miles east of The Dalles and 2 hours east of Portland along the majestic Columbia River and Interstate I-84.
