Job Description:
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this position will start off fully remote with a possibility of returning to a hybrid work schedule in the future.
We are seeking a Reporting Analyst (Research Analyst 2). This is a permanent, full time position in our Accountability and Reporting team within the Office of Child Nutrition, Research, Accountability, Fingerprinting and Transportation (CRAFT) Team with the Oregon Department of Education. What you will do!
The Reporting Analyst will support statewide assessment data collections; develop specifications and perform quality assurance on accountability data for schools and districts; be the data owner for the Kindergarten Assessment collection and the At-A-Glance Narrative collection and be part of the team that creates and publishes the statewide report card.

This Is What You Need To Qualify
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six (6) quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures; OR three (3) years of experience as a research assistant comparable to the work of a Research Analyst 1; or two (2) years of experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data.
Candidates who are the most competitive will possess a compelling combination of the following background, skills, and experience:
Experience working with large datasets
Experience interpreting and explaining law and/or policy
Experience writing technical documentation or technical reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and team-related skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Additional Information
Employees who are Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) participating members will have their base salary increased by 6.95% and pay a 6% employee contribution to PERS; the salary range noted above reflects base salary only.
