The nature of this role requires a hybrid of remote and office work. The ability to report to Salem is required when business or operational needs are dependent on onsite activities.
We are currently seeking a Chief Information Officer at the Oregon Department of Education. If you are a forward-thinker, accomplished leader and have strong strategic and business acumen, this could be the ideal position for you!
As our Chief Information Officer (CIO), you set the strategic direction for our agency’s information technology resources. You serve a critical role in establishing and following technology standards, and collaborating with other governmental agencies, and education partners to leverage efforts in maximizing information technology opportunities. You also oversee the security, confidentiality, and administration of data for millions of current and former K-12 students, education staff, bus drivers, and preschool children
