The Medford School District is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Assistant Principal at McLoughlin Middle School.
Summary: The Middle School Assistant Principal assists the building principal in organizing and fostering a positive, safe environment that is conducive to best meeting the needs of all students, staff and families. The Assistant Principal works closely with the building principal to implement an instructional vision and focused plan for improving student achievement while narrowing the disparities between the highest and lowest performing students; supervise and support professional educators in strengthening their instructional practices; create a community of continuous learning for all staff and students; foster a culture of high expectation, providing all students with equitable access to high quality and culturally relevant instruction; build strong partnerships with families and community; create a safe, welcoming environment that reflects and supports the racial and ethnic diversity of the student population and communities served. The Assistant Principal acts in the capacity of the principal during the principal’s absence from the school.
Salary: $97,525-$116,200*
*based on 2021-22 rates
Contract: 215 days
