Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following administrative position for the 2023-2024 school year:

Director of Human Resources
A current Oregon Administrative Certificate is required

GENERAL RESPONSIBITLITIES:

The Director of Human Resources is responsible to the Superintendent and works under his direction. He or she is a member of the Superintendent's Administrative Team. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning and coordinating the District's recruitment program for certified and classified employees. He or she shall be responsible for processing applications, the evaluation and selection of candidates, and the monitoring of district-wide performance evaluation processes. He or she shall be the District’s Title IX Officer.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful experience in human resources administration preferred.
• Collective bargaining and labor relations experience preferred.
• Successful teaching experience at elementary and/or secondary level preferred.
• Successful experience as a principal or in a district-level administrative position.
• Knowledge of Oregon school law including teacher employment and teacher licensure.
• Experience in designing, coordinating, and implementing training/professional development programs.
• Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Outstanding leadership qualities, strong interpersonal skills, collaborative leadership style, proven track record of being a team player who can work with fellow administrators, staff, students, and parents.

Salary range: $118,612 – $143,503
