Sweet Home School District is seeking a full-time, Junior High Math teacher. Position requires a valid Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement for HQT status. Prefer experience with PLCs, Differentiated Instruction and PBIS. The successful candidate will teach subject matter and skills that will contribute to the students' development as mature, able and responsible adults, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge and ability to implement effective teaching practices, maintain a disciplined classroom, be committed to continuous professional growth, create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth, and motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation in accordance with each student's ability.
