Job Purpose Statement/s:
This position will manage and coordinate Columbia Gorge Education Service District’s (CGESD) work in the areas of workplace culture and inclusion; employee well-being; continuous workforce improvement; Human Resources policies and compliance; staff training and professional development; and internal/external communications. The Director of People and Culture (DoPC) will work closely with the Superintendent, Fiscal Department, and CGESD Department Directors to provide strategic and operational leadership related to the previously mentioned areas of focus. The Director develops and maintains positive relations with all stakeholders including the ESD Board, CGESD staff, and the Columbia Gorge Community.
Administrator License preferred but not required.
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
