Kindergarten Teacher

Under the general supervision of the building principal, the classroom teacher is responsible for the instruction
and supervision of students. The teacher is responsible for providing a positive learning environment that
promotes a high level of achievement for all while considering the background and prior learning of each student.
Teachers work collaboratively with colleagues to provide support for students and routinely communicate
progress with stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
● Possession of or ability to obtain current Oregon Teaching License with Elementary Endorsement.
● Positive classroom and behavior management systems that respect all students.
● Demonstrated skills in providing engaging instruction with timely feedback.
● Ability to provide instruction, utilizing the course of study/materials adopted by the District Board of
Education, aligned with local, state, and federal guidelines.
● Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with various stakeholders.
● Performs other related duties as assigned by the administration.
