Technology Coordinator .5 FTE

Organization:
Coburg Community Charter School
Closing date:
Sunday, April 21, 2024

Coburg Community Charter School is searching for a part time technology coordinator for our small community school of about 225 students and 30 staff. The ideal candidate will have the tech skills to keep our systems humming and the people skills to engage and support our teachers and learners.

The Technology Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of technology systems used by the school, this includes all instructional and operational systems. The Technology Coordinator provides all levels of support, including training and assistance in use, for CCCS computers, smartboards, software or other instruction-related technology in schools. In addition, the Technology Coordinator configures, deploys, and maintains CCCS’s fleet of Chromebooks, tablets, and other instructional hardware and software. This includes the maintenance of the image library and mobile device management system, as well as re-imaging and repairing devices. The Technology Coordinator is a primary point of contact for CCCS staff and students seeking technical support. This position is scheduled to begin the middle of August, 2024, so we are looking to hire someone who is able to commit now to starting then. This position typically works the same days as do the teaching staff with an extra week before and after the school year starts/ends, for a total of about 196 days. The hours are typically Monday-Friday, 4 hours a day; the specific hours should be scheduled and regular, must align to when staff and students are in the building, but can be based on the preferred candidate’s preferences.
Candidates with the necessary training and experience will be placed on the Technology Coordinator pay schedule, which starts at $23.59/hr, along with PERS (approximately 23% base) and the extra 6% paid to PERS by the school (approx. 29% towards retirement once meeting PERS requirements). Sick and personal time is proportionate to a full time schedule, so a .5 FTE position will earn 5 full sick days (40 hours) and 1.5 full personal days (12 hours) each year.

Initial application reviews will begin the week of April 22nd.

In order to apply please email a resume, letter of interest, and up to 3 recommendation letters to director@coburgcharter.org

Thanks for your interest, and we wish you the best in your search!
