POSITION: Computer Science- CTE Teacher 2024-2025 School Year
Full or part-time arrangements are available. Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week M-TH. The CTE Revitalization Grant is funding this position.

SALARY RANGE: Placement on the salary schedule will be commensurate with experience.

BENEFITS: Employer-paid insurance CAP to assist with health, dental, and vision premiums. Also includes basic life and AD&D policies, paid holidays, personal days, sick leave, and PERS retirement contribution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field.
Two years of experience teaching computer science or related subjects.
Experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
Ability to develop sequential computer science courses aligned with Oregon CS Standards.
Understanding of programming languages, algorithms, databases, and project design.
Ability to align curriculum to industry certifications and relevant job markets.
Able to track student progress, and ensure program completion.
Dedication to increasing student interest and competency in computer science.
Able to offer engaging curriculum, hands-on projects, and exposure to real-world applications.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse audience.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
