*General Information

Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Behavior Safety Assessment System Specialist position; bilingual Spanish preferred. This position requires an Oregon Teacher Standards & Practices Commission (TSPC) license with endorsements in School Counseling, Social Work, and/or School Psychology. Successful candidate will work as a member of the School Safety team, part of the School Improvement Services Department, and will follow a 205-day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD Marion Center in Salem, OR and will begin as soon as possible upon conclusion of the selection process.

*Duties, Responsibilities & Qualifications

Provides consultation to all school districts and ESD staff related to behavior safety assessment
as well as sexual incident response and juvenile fire setting intervention; collectively known as
the Behavior Safety Assessment System Specialist (BSAS). Manages monitoring of
program quality, goal setting, data collection and analysis, promoting program services and
serves as a central point of contact. Participates on relevant multidisciplinary and multiagency
teams that address student safety issues.

*Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) licensed position represented by Willamette Valley Education Association.
Placement on the Willamette ESD licensed salary schedule, $56,801 - $106,165, will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training, experience, and prorated according to start date. Salary and benefits shown are based upon full-time employment (1.0 FTE) for the entire school year contract period.
