Student Success Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
Works closely with building administration to promote a safe and positive school environment
and to develop systems that meet all students' needs. The Student Success Coordinator will
provide leadership and assistance with program development and implementation; facilitate
meetings and monitor activities which provide and support interventions to students, families,
and staff. This position coordinates the transition between the elementary to middle school, as
well as middle school to high school.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must hold current Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement
*Deep understanding of student behavior, curriculum development, MTSS, and methods of
assessment
*Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience; High School teaching
experience is preferred
*Have standards of moral character as required of all Oregon licensed educators (OAR
584-005-0005)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Administrative License or coursework leading to licensure
*Master's Degree
*Experience facilitating RTI and/or MTSS processes
*Experience implementing social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices
*Experience engaging parents as partners

COMPENSATION
*190-day contract
*Salary: $50,5744-$99,522

*JCSD 509-J pays the employee's share (6%) of the Public Employees Retirement System
