Position Description:
Dayton School District is seeking a dedicated Junior High/High School Ag Teacher (grades 6–12).
Salary is based on experience and placement on the licensed salary schedule.

Performance Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Agribusiness Teacher is to:
Provide students with opportunities to explore career options in business and agriculture.
Assist students in planning for future careers.
Train students with technical skills needed for success in business/agriculture careers.
Connect students with real-world experiences through rigorous, relevant, hands-on learning and supervised programs.
Offer leadership and personal development training, including teamwork, problem-solving, analysis, and communication skills.
Prepare students to compete in the global economy by increasing international understanding.
Empower students through community development projects that involve students, parents, business leaders, school leaders, and other stakeholders.

Salary Range:
$48,006 – $97,932 per year (based on experience and placement on licensed salary schedule)

License(s): Must hold a valid Oregon Teaching License

Dayton School District is a rural district located in Oregon’s scenic Mid-Willamette Valley, between McMinnville and Newberg.
