COMPENSATION & BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS:
$49,407 to $98,197, DOE and education.
190-day per year contract
6 paid holidays per year
As determined by negotiated salary schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teaching math classes at middle school grade level. Prepare units, lessons, and assessments both individually and in collaboration with content/grade-level teacher teams. Design and deliver high-quality instruction, compassionately and effectively manage the classroom environment, demonstrate joy and optimism for student achievement, and demonstrate patience and support for student social and emotional well-being. Meet all other professional responsibilities.
This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed, recognizing and addressing barriers to academic achievement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Oregon Teaching License with the required middle school math endorsements.
Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
Experience with the PLC model of collaboration is preferred.
Ability to carry or lift light loads (25 lbs). ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to respond to telephone, bells, students, co-workers, etc.; ability to respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.; ability to operate office equipment; Physical demands needed: the ability to communicate with students, co-workers, and the public;
