Salary Range
$48,006 – $97,932 annually
(Based on the 2025–2026 Dayton Education Association Salary Schedule; placement determined by education and experience, subject to board approval)
Position Summary
The Junior High / High School Teacher provides standards-aligned instruction and supports literacy development within and across content areas. This role focuses on teaching, assessing, and supporting student growth in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and academic language to ensure readiness for graduation and post-secondary pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective secondary instruction
Integrate and assess literacy skills within content areas
Use data to guide instruction, intervention, and enrichment
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
Required Qualifications
Valid Oregon Teaching License (TSPC)
