Fossil School District has only one school in the district and it is a charter school. We have a mission that includes raising our kids to the highest academic levels possible and at the same time developing in them a love and appreciation for our natural resources. Our place-based, hands-on approach to teaching allows our teachers many opportunities to incorporate "out-side the box " lesson plans. This position replaces a retiring 38 year veteran teacher.
