Brief Description of Position: Grants Pass School District No. 7 seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Assistant Principal at our
Middle Schools. The assistant principal assumes the primary administrative responsibility for
coordination of student services, oversight of student discipline, oversight of athletic programs, and assists
with all aspects of instructional leadership. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, an
understanding of research-based instructional practices, and a collaborative leadership style.
Salary Range: $90,991 – $97,284
Education/Experience: Background of successful educational and/or administrative experience including a current Oregon Administrative License or ability to obtain an Oregon Administrative License by July 1, 2020.
Personal Qualifications: Candidates should possess outstanding qualities of leadership, strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative leadership style, and be a team player with demonstrated ability to work with fellow administrators, staff, students and parents.
