The Education Services Team at Southern Oregon ESD seeks a collaborative leader to support our expanding Career Technical Education (CTE) program, specifically as it relates to the Student Success Act and the Oregon Department of Education Integrated Plan and Application. The ideal candidate for this position is a recent CTE teacher or administrator who is able to work collaboratively with our Regional CTE coordinator and our Integrated Guidance liaison to support districts and schools with CTE, High School Success (HSS), Integrated Guidance (IG), and Student Investment Account (SIA) planning and implementation.
POSITION GOAL: To provide leadership, management and coordination of project/grant activities in collaboration with local LEAs and other agencies to ensure that all objectives and timelines are successfully met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Locate, research, and prepare grant applications in collaboration with ESD staff and LEA's.
2.Monitor, review, and coordinate post-award contract/grant activities to ensure that Board policies, administrative procedures and agency requirements are being followed.
3.Serve as a liaison between the granting agency and the Business Office in the budgeting and preparation of grants and contracts.
4.Review all components of grant submission, ensuring that the proposal is formatted, packaged, and submitted in accordance with granting agency requirements.
5.Establish support structure and management of successful contract/grant awards.
6.Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the contract/grant.
7.Develop and implement an effective contract/grant evaluation instrument.
8.Develop professional development activities as they relate to the contract/grant.
9.Assist in developing project goals, policies, and procedures.
10.Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with SOESD employees, local education agency representatives and others contacted during the course of the workday.
11.Follow established SOESD policies and procedures.
12.Perform physical requirements unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation (see reverse).
13.Perform job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM PREREQUISITES:
1. Five or more years in public education, with successful experience in teaching, administration, or equivalent training and experience.
2. Masters Degree preferred.
LENGTH OF POSITION: 260 day calendar
SALARY: Per administrative salary schedule: $74,589.52 - $89,502.96 annual salary.
