We are hiring a permanent, full-time Network Analyst to join our team at the Oregon Department of Education. The Network Analyst administers information systems for the Department by collecting, managing and reviewing access logs, monitoring network equipment, enforcing information security policies and procedures, and working with developers to identify and re-mediate information system errors on production servers. This position is a Tier 3 technical expert in the design, recommendation and use in regards to end user devices, applications, network configurations, privileged access controls, user access management, firewalls, WAN routers, LAN switches, protocol use and configuration, software and hardware configurations of client PCs, server administration, maintenance and administration of ODE system servers and implementation of service level agreements with clients and supported state agencies as well as providing ODE staff training on the use of the technologies listed as well as information systems best practices.

What we are looking for:
• Six (6) years of information systems experience;
• OR An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND Four (4) years of information systems experience; OR
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND
Two (2) years of information systems experience; OR
• A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
