The primary function of the High School Principal is to direct and administer all school operations and activities, including instructional programs, support services, facility and ground operations, maintenance, student activities, agency collaboration, contacts and community relations activities.
The District is searching for a strong leader with experience as a secondary level principal. Candidates must have:
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in instruction, observation, and supervision
Ability to form bonds with the community and business sector
Strong, positive, proven leadership skills
Demonstrated positive interpersonal relations skills
Successful experience in building and maintaining community/business partnerships and community college connections
Leadership experience in the career-technical field(s) of study
Vision for education in the 21st century
Knowledge of best practices and instructional strategies
Vision/experience in use of technology for school management and instruction/learning
Knowledge of Oregon State standards/assessment and benchmark requirements
Knowledge of master scheduling models
Experience in both high school administration and teaching
Experience as a successful high school principal preferred
Experience with co-curricular activities
Experience/knowledge of school construction projects
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and optimize resources
Ability to work positively with diverse populations
Creative problem-solving skills
Two years administrative experience
Valid Oregon Administrator license
Start Date: July 1, 2020

Salary and Benefits:
$112,712 - $134,491
260 day contract with 20 vacation days and 10 paid holidays
