We are currently seeking a State Board Administrator (Operations & Policy Analyst 4) at the Salem office of the Oregon Department of Education. This is a permanent, full-time position in management service.
What you will do!
This position is on the Government and Legal Affairs team, in the Director’s Office.
The State Board of Education consists of seven members appointed by the Governor and two ex officio members (Secretary of State and State Treasurer). The State Board sets educational policies and standards for Oregon's public school districts, educational programs, charter schools, and educational service districts.
As the State Board Administrator, you support the work of the State Board of Education to meets its governance responsibilities. You also serve as an independent senior staff person to the Government and Legal Affairs Manager.
