Klamath Falls City Schools

The Klamath Falls City Schools (KFCS) seeks its next dynamic leader as Superintendent of Schools. With a vision that “100% Graduation is our Expectation,” the district is driven to achieve this goal knowing that high school graduation empowers young people to realize their aspirations. KFCS works toward this goal by helping students grow and succeed as both good students and good people. The next superintendent will need embrace the schools and immerse oneself in the community to further the trajectory of progress.

A PK-12 district serving approximately 3000 students in seven school sites, KFCS partners with local businesses and colleges. This collaborative culture is key to the district’s success. All stakeholders in the Klamath Falls City greater community work together for the common goal of student growth and are vested in the success of the public schools. KFCS is located in beautiful, rural Klamath Falls, Oregon, which is in the south central region of Oregon and borders northern California. Klamath Falls sits on the southern shore of the Upper Klamath Lake, on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains. The community enjoys nearly 300 days of sunshine each year, giving it its name of the City of Sunshine. With the high-desert terrain, rivers, lakes, and mountains, Klamath Falls is an outdoor-lover’s paradise.
