Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, these positions will start off fully remote with a possibility of returning to a physical office in the future.

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time CTE and Federal Systems Data Analyst (Program Analyst 3) in the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (OTLA).

Who We Are
The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) oversees the education of over 560,000 students in Oregon’s public K-12 education system. ODE encompasses early learning, public preschool programs, the state School for the Deaf, regional programs for children with disabilities, and education programs in Oregon youth corrections facilities. While ODE isn’t in the classroom directly providing services, the agency (along with the State Board) - focuses on helping districts achieve both local and statewide goals and priorities through strategies such as:

What you will do!
You will work in our Secondary / Post-Secondary Transitions unit. This unit collaborates with other partners implement career technical education (CTE) that maximizes student achievement of academic and technical skills and knowledge and success for their next steps.

As our CTE and Federal Systems Data Analyst, you will support efforts by colleagues and partners in implementing research-based, innovative programs that integrate academic and career and technical education and support quality migrant education programs. This includes a focus on accountability as it relates to federal and state performance metrics.

On a regular basis, you will provide ongoing training and support to improve data-literacy and the use of data to inform program development and implementation and also handle data requests from internal and external partners as it relates to CTE, Civil Rights, and the Migrant Education Program.
