We are currently seeking an Innovation and Improvement Research Analyst (Research Analyst 2) in our Office of Education Innovation and Improvement (EII). This is a permanent, full-time position. What you will do!
As our Innovation and Improvement Research Analyst, you will provide support to the other research analysts with the collection and analysis of data submitted by grantees to the Office Education Innovation and Improvement. The primary purpose of this position is to perform research and analysis in support of the development and execution of the Student Investment Account described in the Student Success Act, including analyzing quarterly and annual reports as well as creating data visualizations to support the development of performance growth targets.

This Is What You Need To Qualify
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six (6) quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures; OR three (3) years of experience as a research assistant comparable to the work of a Research Analyst 1; or two (2) years of experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data.
Candidates who are the most competitive will possess a compelling combination of the following background, skills, and experience:
Experience in both conducting quantitative and qualitative research.
Requires strong written and oral communication skills including public speaking on an impromptu and scheduled basis.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks.
Skill in soliciting and valuing diverse viewpoints
Additional Information
Employees who are Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) participating members will have their base salary increased by 6.95% and pay a 6% employee contribution to PERS; the salary range noted above reflects base salary only.
