Position: Elementary Vice Principal at Sherwood Elementary

Salary : $118,000 - $120,000 Depending on Experience
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (Districts contribution 24-25 school year is $1850.00).Life and Accidental Death Insurance.

Essential Job Requirements:
Valid Oregon Administrative License
Masters’ Degree in School Administration or related field
At least seven years’ experience of successful classroom teaching. (preferred)
Experience working with diverse populations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively and collaborative with various stakeholders (teachers, administrative team, parents, patrons, etc)

Promoting and protecting the welfare and safety of students and staff
Ensures organizational time is focused on quality instruction and student learning

Understanding and applying strategies in response to student sub-group data
Understanding and respecting the community’s cultural and social resources
Building and supporting positive relations with all stakeholder groups
Demonstrates Ethical Leadership by:
Engaging in behaviors and actions that are honest, transparent and consistent
Ensuring a system of accountability for every student’s academic and social success
Aware and Responsive to Socio-Political Influences by:
Advocating for students and families
Anticipating emerging trends and initiatives in order to adapt one’s leadership
Working Conditions:
Required to travel within region and state on occasion
Required to work flexible hours and schedules
A majority of work is conducted in either classroom or office environment
