From Policy to Practice: Navigating New Bills, Division 22, and Curriculum Coherence in Small Districts

Small districts wear many hats—and this session is designed with that reality in mind. In this interactive workshop, leaders will unpack key components of recently passed education legislation, understand what’s required for Division 22 reporting, and develop practical ways to support teachers with clear, aligned curriculum tools.

Participants will co-create a shared Google Drive designed for small systems, housing one-off, standards-aligned lessons, a year-long scope and sequence, and ready-to-use Division 22 evidence. Whether you're a superintendent, principal, or both, you’ll leave with simplified tools and strategies to reduce the burden and improve coherence across your instructional team.

In addition, the session will cover requirements and resources for Adi’s Act, Erin’s Law, Substance Use Prevention, and Fentanyl education—ensuring you’re prepared to support staff and meet state mandates with confidence.
