Sherwood High School is actively seeking a leader within our building and district in the role of Associate Principal. Strong candidates will have demonstrated leadership in the following areas, as well as many others:
● Culturally responsive education
● Collaborating with a diverse student population, staff, and community
● Student supervision that supports students, families, and staff in the areas of academics, attendance, discipline and social-emotional health
● Staff evaluations
● Middle school to high school transitions
● I.E.P./504/E.L.L/H.M.P. development, implementation, and management
● Current trends in instruction, curriculum, and assessment
The Associate Principal will provide assistance to the Principal for the overall leadership and administration of the building, and as such, assume responsibility for all aspects of the school program. As assigned, the Associate Principal will use necessary leadership, supervisory and administrative skills so as to promote the educational development of each student to his/her fullest potential.
1.0 FTE, 255 day/12 month calendar
Start Date: As soon as possible upon hire
Salary: $136,131-$148,830; District pays the 6% employee PERS contribution, upon eligibility
